Job Description
This position is responsible for guiding the Returns team in the timely completion of all inbound volume by ensuring processors and clerks are meeting productivity and accuracy expectations on a daily basis. This role will work directly with the Returns/Spare Parts manager on various tasks and initiatives and will also act as a direct contact for Customer Service and Warehouse Operations.

Administrative

  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement emphasizing safety, accuracy, and productivity
  • Ensure consistency of process with inspections, crediting, and inventory movement
  • Encourage staff to face challenges with confidence and teamwork
  • Provide the Returns team with clear communication of performance and accuracy expectations
  • Drive team and individual growth through positive guidance
  • Train new team members and develop current staff as process improvements occur
  • Ability to write and communicate professionally to employees, customers, and internal business partners
  • Proficient in building and maintaining spreadsheet reports to provide support to the manager

Workflow and Process Integrity

  • Manage staff on throughput of inbound returns volume
  • Ensure all return shipments are inspected and credited by priority and date received
  • Monitor physical and systemic movement of inventory post-inspections
  • Work with the Returns team to keep outbound volume flow current
  • Audit inspections, crediting, and inventory disposition processes
  • Maintain organized filing of all completed credits for reference and research

Additional Responsibilities

  • Research and respond to return issues from internal partners in a timely manner
  • Manage supply inventory and communicate replenishments as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, promptly reporting any issues as necessary
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; AA/AS preferred
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (ex. Formatting, Pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with Order/Inventory Management software platforms (SAP, AS400, etc.)
  • Can work effectively in a warehouse environment throughout the year
