Identity Access Management Sr. Specialist (Finance)



POSITION SUMMARY:

As the IAM Senior Specialist, you will be a senior member in our Identity Access Management team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IAM solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional with in-depth expertise in identity and access management, coupled with the ability to contribute to the overall strategic direction. The IAM Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our organization's security posture through effective access governance and advanced IAM strategies. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • IAM Architecture and Design: 
    • Develop and implement IAM tools and capabilities aligned with organizational objectives. 
    • Design and architect IAM solutions that meet current and future business needs. 
    • Provide guidance on best practices for identity lifecycle management. 
  • Access Governance and Compliance: 
    • Lead access review processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 
    • Implement and enforce access policies, ensuring the principle of least privilege. 
    • Collaborate with internal audit teams to address IAM-related compliance issues. 
  • IAM & PAM Tool Management: 
    • Evaluate, implement, and manage IAM tools and technologies. 
    • Oversee the configuration and optimization of IAM systems for optimal performance. 
    • Stay informed about emerging IAM technologies and recommend improvements. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, configure PAM solutions, and ensure seamless integration with systems and applications. 
    • Implement Privileged access controls, password rotations policies, and session isolation measures to protect critical credentials and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting:
    • Act as a senior point of contact for IAM-related incidents and anomalies.
    • Provide expertise in the investigation and resolution of complex access-related issues.
    • Develop and implement corrective measures to enhance IAM security.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology infrastructure, security, and compliance.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior IAM analysts.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure IAM solutions align with business requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM processes, procedures, and configurations.
    • Generate and present regular reports on IAM metrics, compliance, and risk assessments.
    • Ensure clear and effective communication of IAM strategies and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in Identity Access Management 
  • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, principles, and best practices. 
  • Strong understanding of directory services, authentication, and authorization protocols. 
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing IAM tools and technologies. 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills. 
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced certifications in IAM, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP-ISSMP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). 
  • Experience with leading IAM solutions such as SailPoint, Okta, or Microsoft Identity Manager. 
  • Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions and integrations. 
  • Expertise in regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR, HIPAA) and compliance requirements. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute IAM projects from conception to completion. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
