Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Technical Program Manager located in US California Milpitas.

Reporting to the VP, Design, Process and Technology Engineering the Technical Program Manager will partner with global engineering, operations, program management, commercial and customer teams to drive the end to end product life cycle from design, validation and implementation of innovative and cutting edge product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture thru the New Technology Introduction NTI phase. Work closely with the VP of NTI Global Engineering to define product requirements and provide voice of the customer to the design & engineering teams. The Technical Program Manager will manage and oversee daily Business, technical resources, communications, and key operational indicators.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with customer engineering, engineering and lab experts to ensure timely execution of technical projects

  • Drive definition of products in markets with focus on enterprise and cloud computing hardware

  • Actively identify and assess new product opportunities and initiatives for customer designs and white label products. Work closely with customer and design engineering to extract and develop core product features-advantages-benefits analysis to drive and support data to enable product roadmap strategy.

  • Lead technical program management of the New Technology Introduction lab

  • Translate customer's technical needs and requirements into internal project action plans to execute New Technology lab activities

  • Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes within a matrixed functional organization across US and global sites (Mexico)

  • Establish and ensure effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site and may include cost center ownership responsibilities

  • Lead program team, including regular team/customer meetings and updates to senior management

  • Build relationships and enhance communications with internal and external Customers

  • Be a data driven leader

The experience we're looking to add to our team,

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent experience; MBA/MS preferred.

  • Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Proven experience in program management with progressive advancement in program management and/or NPI engineering experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

  • Excellent Knowledge of schedule and technical performance evaluation techniques and key metrics

  • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting, budgeting and scheduling

  • Working knowledge of MS office and other program management software (e.g MS Project)

  • A business acumen with a strategic ability

  • An analytical data driven mindset with great problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$141,200.00 USD - $194,100.00 USDĀ Annual
