Shipping and Receiving Specialist - Level 3 (Finance)

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist - Level 3 here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our supply chain and distribution network. You will be responsible for managing logistics operations, coordinating transportation methods, negotiating contracts with carriers, and optimizing shipping processes to guarantee timely deliveries while keeping costs in check. Your work plays a vital part in maintaining the seamless flow of materials and products, meeting customer expectations, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.

You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor and you'll work out of our El Paso, TX location on a Onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by ensuring accurate and timely shipping and receiving of goods. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate logistics operations will directly contribute to the success and competitiveness of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of goods.
• Coordinate transportation methods and select cost-effective and efficient options.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Optimize shipping processes to minimize lead times and reduce transportation costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
• Implement data-driven strategies to optimize logistics operations and adapt to market demands.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of shipping and receiving processes.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

• 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with inventory management systems
