Product Adoption Specialist Lead (Finance)



For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and Bonus

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

The Asset Management ArcFM team is focused on end-to-end utility design and asset management built on the Esri GIS platform. We currently have some outstanding opportunities for individuals to be part of our team.

Description of the Role

The Product Adoption Specialist Lead (PAS) will pair with project teams and partners to support the Solution Architects on their teams during client workshops to solve critical client needs using the existing application solutions. The PAS will act as the Technical SME and interface between the project teams, partners and the R&D team. They will share how to implement the product to solve a customer's business needs.

This role requires tight partnership with implementations and projects as well as R&D. You will know the application and how to manipulate the application better than implementation teams. You will work with R&D to highlight and demonstrate customer use cases (how the application works and does not work).

This is a unique role that requires both technical strength as well as high social/emotional competency (relationship building).

What will you do?

  • Build a knowledge base:
  1. Esri's Utility Network + ArcFM Configuration for the Utility Network
  2. Deep understanding of the application domain and tooling
    • ArcGIS Pro, Editor XI
    • Designer XI
  • Assigned to a project
  • Attend workshops early in the project
  • Build relationships - both with the project team and with the customer core team
  • Advocate for early client use in their own environment with their own data (adjust how the project team)
  • Maintain starter kit
  • Consider other tools
  • Advocate in R&D for implementation tooling or assist
  • Use the product a lot - test, try out use cases, reproduce customer designs & prints, know EVERY tool
  • Show how to use the product to solve their use cases
  • Partner training, training in general, knowing where resources are
  • Advocate to R&D customer needs and use cases - Reverse demo client use cases to R&D
  • Test development builds and new functionality against customer scenarios
  • Review Assist Channels to identify what gaps exist in the product and initial knowledge share
  • Attend recurring client escalation meeting between RSC and R&D
  • Lead the direction and overall strategy for the Product Adoption Specialist team
    • Manage a team of 3-5 individuals
    • Define the processes and rituals for the team

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Ability to manipulate the system to address customer problems
  • Interest, ability, and technical knowledge to absorb deep product and system knowledge end to end. Including:
    • UI interaction
    • Services and cloud interaction
    • Configuration
    • Data scenarios & research
  • Curiosity mindset - attending client workshops with a desire to understand client problems. Make clients feel heard and listened to. Explore client needs instead of reacting to client needs.
  • Understand the prioritization process for both a client's needs and R&D backlog prioritization with PMs.
  • Relationship building with clients, project teams, partners, and R&D
  • Listen & communicate in a timely, respectful manner
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent level of degree and experience.
  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience
