What you will do

Under minimal supervision, you will install, modify, upgrade, maintain, and repair complex manufacturing equipment and processes. You will drive continuous improvement through PLC programming, robotics troubleshooting, mechanical/electrical documentation, and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce variation, improve uptime, and lower maintenance costs.

How you will do it

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on PLCs (ladder logic), robotics (Fanuc/Denso), and automated systems.

  • Implement capital and non-capital projects, ensuring equipment meets quality and engineering standards.

  • Use problem-solving tools (Pareto analysis, FMEA, DOE) to resolve technical issues.

  • Collaborate with quality control and manufacturing teams to optimize processes.

  • Act as a liaison between plant operations and Division Engineering for project reporting and process changes.

  • Maintain and update electrical/mechanical documentation using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

What we look for

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance or engineering.

  • Expertise in PLC programming, ladder logic, and equipment troubleshooting.

  • Ability to work B Shift (7 PM – 7:30 AM).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or 2-year degree + 6 years' experience).

  • Robotics programming experience (Fanuc/Denso).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, and PowerPoint.
