Duties/Responsibilities: • In conjunction with the CEO and Management Team, the PR Specialist will formulate PR plans and strategies to enhance SCS presence in the community. • Conceptualize content ideas for social and digital media and write, copy, and create audio, photographic, video, and multimedia content. • Planning and directing communication for SCS news release. • Preparing and editing organizational publication. • Prepare and distributes SCS news releases and public service announcements. • Manage day to day updates for SCS website. • Ensures timely information, press releases to a variety of different media platforms. • Meets regularly with the CEO and Management Team for media coverage. • Responsible for the Employee's Monthly Digital Newsletter by coordinating with CEO and Management Team. • Organizes annual events such as Mental Health Month, Recovery Month, Prevention Month, etc. and works in collaboration with CEO, Management Team and Employee Engagement Committee to maximize interaction and engagement. • Stays current on innovative and effective public information strategies and implements them in SCS media. • Performs other duties as assigned.
