*Parking and Transportation Maintenance Specialist (Maintenance)



Come join the staff at OU HSC and become a part of Oklahoma's premier research university which leads the state in education and career opportunities. OU HSC is one of only four comprehensive academic health centers in the nation with seven professional colleges. We are currently building world-class institutes for the treatment of diabetes and cancer. We are looking for a Parking and Transportation Maintenance Specialist to join the team! This position independently removes trash and cleans parking garages and lots 

Duties: 
  • Disposal. Disposes of trash and waste products. 
  • Cleaning. Cleans parking garage flooring, curbs and stairwells. 
  • Operation of Equipment. Operates various equipment including a drivable sweeper, high-pressure power washer, leaf vacuum and snow plow. 
  • Emergency response. Responds to the need for snow and ice duty. 
  • As needed. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of any site support position to include assisting any skilled trade.
Education/Experience: None required

 

Skills:

  • Ability to operate drivable sweeper, high-pressure power washer, leaf vacuum, and snow plow


Certifications/Licenses: 
  • Valid Driver's License

Working Conditions: 
  • Must be able to work on feet, and outside in the elements for duration of shift.

Department Preferences: 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 12 months custodial experience
