Position Overview

The Salesforce Platform Enablement Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle and governance of Salesforce and nCino at Wintrust. The position is responsible for leading teams of Salesforce engineers, architects, analysts, and admins and working directly with stakeholders to manage delivery of innovative and high-quality software products to meet business goals and customer needs.

This is a Senior Managerial position that works with and manages teams of technical resources focusing on development, analysis and delivery for the Salesforce and nCino platform. This role is responsible for managing and growing world-class talent, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving towards continued maturity in software development practices. The platform manager oversees the end-to-end delivery and governance of the Salesforce and nCino platforms by working directly with stakeholders and executives to ensure the software development lifecycle is correctly adhered to in context of auditability, traceability, compliance, security, and establishing development best practices.  This person must be able to manage and communicate to teams of varying technical capabilities and functions as well as to business end users concerning business practices and processes while leveraging their knowledge of the software platform and is responsible for assigning resources to specific tasks within the software development lifecycle.  

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for oversight of technical documentation, technical development, implementation, administration and support of Application Development, using leading edge technologies. Participate in the development and deployment of new applications to support business initiatives, playing a leading role in the design of new/improved interfaces to/from other applications.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and processes to align development efforts to business goals.

  • Oversee development of new applications and functionality including modifying existing website, micro-sites, and application sites for B2B and B2C web portals. Develop and document functional specifications

  • Oversee all Software Development efforts to write and review technical specifications and requirements as required, meeting the objectives of functional specifications. Specifically, identifying specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures or functions as required.

  • Provide application design expertise for application development, database design and maintenance, software architecture, software development lifecycle management and application monitoring for the relevant platform(s). Help architect efficient and scalable software solutions for business application platforms.

  • Responsible for overseeing software release management of team projects including packaging for deployment and working with Configuration Management for the release of, and integration of released applications into open web projects.

  • Oversee conversion of system requirements into logical program designs, code modules and stable application systems. Develops technical design documents for software solutions independently. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

  • 7+ years of Salesforce Development experience

  • Ability to use a consultative approach to the needs of suppliers and business units while orchestrating and managing project efforts.  Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers. 

  • Comfortable working across teams, with good organizational skills, ability to work independently, good communication skills, good negotiation skills, and excellent analytical skills. Must be able to operate within and enhance a team environment.

  • Works directly with all areas in IT, with close working relationship with IT peer group.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $169,000.00 - $228,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
