Senior Analyst, Customer Insights (Finance)




***This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA***

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of consultants to important functions across Hilton! As a Senior Analyst, Customer Insights , you will support Hilton's Customers, Brands, Marketing, Digital, Revenue, and Sales organizations, with special support for the executive leadership team. As a member of the Customer Insights team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Insights, you will play a key role in advancing Hilton's Voice of Customer analytics and overall program. You will collaborate across many disciplines at Hilton to understand business needs, conducting proactive advanced analytics to inform strategic decisions, and measuring the impact of business initiatives on guest experiences.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Utilize advanced R and SQL skills to drive analytical insights to guide guest-facing business decisions.
  • Collaborate across corporate teams to conduct needs assessments and identify opportunities for improvement in customer experience.
  • Serve as an advanced analytics advisor to guide proactive problem identification and solutioning.
  • Share analyses and recommendations with partners across the organization via presentations, written reports, and other means.
  • Prepare reports and presentations, independently or in collaboration with others.

How you will collaborate with others:
  • Collaborate with corporate team members across the organization to understand business needs and develop analyses and recommendations to guide strategic decisions.
  • Partner with colleagues on analytical approaches, execution or storytelling.

What projects you will take ownership of:
  • Impact measurement of business initiatives on the guest experience
  • Advanced guest experience problem identification and solutioning

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional experience in a customer experience measurement or analytics role
  • One (1) year experience utilizing both SQL and R
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Hybrid work schedule from McLean, VA

It would be useful if you have:
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Analytics related field
  • Advanced experience in SQL and/or R
  • Experience working in a large, matrixed organization
