Summary of Job:

This full time position will provide engineering design and support as part of our Design-Build construction team. This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and engineering design experience in facility solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  (include but are not limited to)

• Perform full Design of Mechanical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems for new construction projects and existing facility upgrades while working under the oversight of a licensed engineer.
• Responsible for preparing construction drawings and specifications
• Thoroughly understand and design to all relevant codes and standards
• Act as the technical authority consistently moving projects toward successful completion often while leading internal teams
• Assist internal sales and vertical market teams in preparing proposals for design and construction of projects by various support functions such as: drawing review, site review, perform load calculations, initial equipment selections, design clarifications, codes research, systems analysis, energy audits and problem solving
• Perform evaluations of facility mechanical systems and develop narratives for Owner solutions
• Must be able to handle stress and job demands.
• Must be able to cooperatively work with others.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. 
• 0-1 years of industry experience preferred. 
• Fundamentals of Engineer Exam (FE) completion • Industry experience preferred.
