What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers) Lead Daily Operations with Confidence: · Oversee the smooth functioning of day-to-day community operations including staffing, schedules, and resident support. · Ensure all departments are working together efficiently to meet community goals and resident needs. · Maintain a consistent and visible presence in the community to support staff, residents, and families. Supervise, Support & Develop Staff: · Directly supervise all department heads and team members, ensuring accountability, professionalism, and teamwork. · Lead staff onboarding, training, and continued education efforts to promote excellence and compliance. · Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing candidates and collaborating on selection decisions. Promote a Culture of Compliance & Excellence: · Ensure the community remains in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. · Maintain up-to-date records, reports, and audits related to community operations and licensing requirements. · Stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes, adapting operations as needed. Champion Communication & Leadership: · Serve as a liaison between staff, residents, families, and leadership to ensure transparency and satisfaction. · Model servant leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to hospitality in all interactions. · Support and collaborate with all departments--nursing, dining, life enrichment, maintenance--to create a seamless resident experience.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Leadership & Heart) ? Experience & Skills: · Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality operations management preferred. · Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a focus on coaching and collaboration. · Working knowledge of applicable regulations and a proactive approach to compliance. ? Physical Requirements: · Ability to be on your feet, move around the community, and respond to occasional urgent needs. · Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. ? Certifications: · Valid driver's license required. · Administrator or housing certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
